07/31/2009 - Triangle Unveils New Web Site
The Terabyte Triangle has a new and improved Web site at www.terabytetriangle.com. All of the 473 archived news stories are still available, but very little else remains from the former Web site. The graphics are new, and so is much of the content. It is simpler, more streamlined, and easier to use. Alt 29 Design Group, Inc., with input from Sirti and the TT, designed and built the new Web site.
Sponsoring buildings have their own page with graphics, logos, and contact information. Platinum Sponsors have in-depth descriptions and the mechanism for a slide show. Clicking on the building's address takes you to a Google map pinpointing its exact location. Sponsoring companies have a page with links to the company's own Web site. The news page now has search capability, making it much easier to find an article 'even those published eight years ago. Just type in the key words and the articles containing the search results will be listed in the column below. Click on the title, and the news article is displayed. The Home page and About page content is new. Subscribing to the Terabyte Triangle Newslet ter -- always easy from the Web site -- has been made even more simple.
Probably the most important part of the Web site is not open for view. All of the pages can now be easily maintained with an easy to use content management system. Additional text and graphics can now be uploaded with minimal difficulty. Changes and deletions can often be done with the click of a button. The Terabyte Triangle board urges all readers to visit and enjoy.
